About Me

I am a British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP) accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT), and trained Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) Teacher.

I have ten years work experience within a range of mental health treatment and support services. For the past five years I have been working as a CBT Therapist within the NHS, mainly with adults from all walks of life and with diverse experiences. Alongside my CBT practice, I have also co-facilitated mixed Mindfulness Based Cognitive Psychotherapy groups for the NHS and for the voluntary sector, co-running a drop-in group at MIND.

Prior to my accreditation as a CBT Therapist, I have been a member of the NHS mental health community teams and hospital acute services covering adults and children in both inner city and rural areas in the north and south of the UK. I also have gone through my own personal development through meditation and psychotherapy.

I have also taught and lived in Spain for three years and speak Spanish fluently.
